JIRA repeatedly loses the connection to the server. A pop-up message is displayed. This happened 6 times for me. Possibly related to Internet explorer? Impact: loss of data and re-work.
BTW the problem is also observed with Firefox. Impact: Loss of data input, duplicate efforts. Today I could not even re-establish the connection to JIRA.
The problem always occurs when assigning a subtask to someone: server lost.
Can you please suggest?
This is probably a network problem and not a Jira problem. Like Timotht says : If you can check out the Server logs for any timeout of connect problem messages that might already help. Or maybe you can ask your network administrators if there are connectivity issues.
