JIRA receives no answer from Stash during the application-linking-process

florian.butter@googlemail.com May 21, 2015

I´m trying to link JIRA to Stash but when i´m inserting the link (https) to Stash a dialog pops up which says that JIRA receives no answer from Stash.

If i insert the Stash URL without SSL (http) the next dialog displays the application-URL with http and the display-URL with https. In the next step JIRA recognizes the Stash instance but when i confirm the dialog i get redirected to Stash and the operation about because Stash is unable to get required information from JIRA.

  • I configured both instances to use SSL only.
    • JIRA using the config.sh
    • Stash in the server.xml
  • Both instances do not use a reverse proxy.
  • Both instances listen on ports 6443
  • Both instances have a pre-routing from:
    • 80 to 6443 and
    • 443 to 6443.

I´m thankful for every help!

Thank you for your reply.

It was it is needed to import the Stash Certificate into the JIRA Server Cacerts file and vice versa.

I found the solution here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=295307341

Thank you smile
