JIRA project specific admin

nidhis September 10, 2015

Hi Team,

Is there any possibility in JIRA that we can have admin for each Projects who will be having permission to modify configurations of only that Project in which he is admin.?

He should be able to edit all the things in that Project but not in other Project.

Please suggest.

Regards,

 Nidhi

hi Nidhi

Unfortunately not, a project admin's cannot modify configurations such as workflows and issue type schemes for his project. This can only be done by someone with JIRA admin permissions.

This is a long pending feature request on atlassian open for over 11 years. Please go in and vote to prioritise itsdevelopment.

I've trialed an interesting add-on called Project-specific Custom Field.

You could leverage that, potentially.

No.

Atlassian are looking at making project admin rights more localised and granular, but at the moment your project admins can only admin users, versions and components.
