JIRA minor upgrade with expired support

Hello,

is it possible to upgrade from JIRA 5.0.3 -> 5.0.4?

We have valid JIRA 5.0.3 in our company but support has expired. There is no need to do major upgrade at this moment, but we know there is one important bugfix in 5.0.4.

Is it possible to do this minor upgrade with expired support? I believe it should be.

That is exactly what the licence says and what Christian and Chris says - if the release of your target version was after the end of your licence, then you can NOT upgrade to it.

Also, JSP issues are private, we can't see them because they are between you and Atlassian. I can take a rough guess at what you're being told there though - much the same as you've been told by the others here.

With your license, you are entitled to upgrade to all the releases prior to the license end date.

For example, if your license expiration date was May-30-2012, you should be able to upgrade up to 5.0.5 based on the release dates from http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download-archives

It's possible if 5.0.4 has been release during a period when your license was still valid...
