JIRA mention does not show up on Confluence's workbox

John Yeuk Hon Wong November 12, 2014

I followed https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+Workbox+Notifications but I still cannot receive mention notification on Confluence's workbox. I've enabled all three authentication methods (trusted channel, oauth, and basic access).

Is there a way to test the mention capability via some API to know what is failing? The log doesn't show much...other than leading me to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Application+Link+authentication+fails+due+to+bad+URL+signature

Thanks

Hi John,

Maybe the problem in this case is having all authentication enabled. This is not recommend actually.

I recommend to remove the app links from Confluence and JIRA and recreate them using only a OAuth which is more reliable auth now for the latest apps.

Then check if both apps can communicate as expected and test again. I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Rodrigo

Thanks. I actually tried this approach but still have no luck. I will try again. Thanks

@Rodrigo Adami Still doesn't work. Thoughts on testing the connect at API level? Thanks.
