JIRA issue links behavior with Confluence's JIRA Issue macro vs. JIRA Filter macro

Sean M July 21, 2017

In Confluence, when I use the JIRA Issue macro to link to a JIRA issue in a page, that issue gets a 'Mentioned In' link on the JIRA side.

When I use the JIRA Filter macro to link to a bunch of issues in a page, those issues do not get a 'Mentioned In' link on the JIRA side.

Is this the expected behavior? Is there a way to have 'Mentioned In' links on JIRA issues that are matched by Confluence's JIRA Filter macro?

Thanks!!

Hello Sean,

It appears a bug has been raised for this:

In the case of any filter that returns more than one result, it does not list the issue as being "mentioned in" a Confluence page.

I recommend you vote on the above case to help show the developers how many users have been affected by the problem. You can also feel free to comment on it publically and provide your feedback.

You can let us know if you have any questions about this!

Kind Regards,
Shannon
