JIRA integration with Jive 6.0

We're a small software development division within a big corporation using Jira 5.0 and Confluence 3.5. for application & project docs.

I'm currently evaluating Jive 6.0, which is being rolled out to our big organisation as an intranet, as a replacement for Confluence.

I see this: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.appfusions.jira.jive.jira-in-jive

Has anyone experience using it? And does anyone know if it works with Jive 6 ?

Hi Kathleen -

Thanks for your question - I'd like to provide you with an official answer on this integration flavor.

AppFusions are no longer supporting new deployments of this integration to the Jive 5.0 platform - and suggest that you work with your Jive platform team to upgrade to Jive 6.0.

(Or, we could deploy for you - but it will not have an upgrade path for you - and simply a one time install. If interested, contact me at ellen@appfusions.com.)

The evolved story on this:

Jive performed MASSIVE improvements between Jive 5 and Jive 6, and it no longer made business for AppFusions to support the lesser version. Since the product was relatively young, this also made sense for us.

Meanwhile, AppFusions took it up a level with Jive 6, and have integrated JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Fisheye, Crucible, and Bamboo, with Jive 6 and early launch was at JiveWorld12 in Oct 2012.

Here are some early videos.

The official launch, and general availability of these integrations will be mid-late February 2013 - so imminent, and we will expect to be deploying readily and often in 2013.

Please contact us directly at info@appfusions.com if you would like more information. It is all coming together, in great ways - and we're excited to show you!!

Look forward to hearing from you!

AppFusions … Connecting the enterprise.

Thanks for the response. We are on Jive 6, but only in beta-test right now; I believe we're going live in February (next month). I'll pass this info on to my colleagues.

Have them contact us and we can deploy to the eval systems - it is essentially done, but obvious as you saw from the website, the marketing communications is behind.

We have a big conference coming up at end of Jan, and once that is done, focus will be back on this for official release.

12/6/2014 update: This is now available for Jive 7+ (on-premise, hosted, or cloud) and has evolved quite alot. See this link for video and to request an eval - http://www.appfusions.com/display/JRA2JV/Home
