JIRA connection to Github Enterprise

Does the JIRA DVCS Connector Plugin support Github Enterprise? We have Github Enterprise installed behind our firewall and would like to connect to JIRA. However the configuration wizard in JIRA appears to only support https://github.com/.

Just check out this branch, package it, and you will be good to go. We use it currently.

Atlassian merged that branch in, so good news! The patch will be official.

JIRA DVCS Connector only supports repositories with the "https://github.com" on its hostname (public and private). I found this feature request asking for include the support for GitHub Enterprise on DVCS Connector. However it is still opened and I'm afraid that it doesn't work yet.
