JIRA and FishEye integration problem

Irina Solarcuka April 15, 2014

Hi,

I've created a test environment for jira 6.1 as restore from production backup. JIRA was integrated with FishEye. Since I've done that (I suppose) users can't see any data on the Source tab in jira in production environment but can see that in a test environment on a System Dashboard in the Activity Stream. In the production environment the following error message shown on the Source tab:"

This list may be incomplete, as errors occurred whilst retrieving source from linked applications:

  • Request to http://jirafisheye.com:8060/failed: Error in remote call to 't2jirafisheye' (http://jirafisheye.com:8060) [AbstractRestCommand{path='/rest-service-fe/search-v1/crossRepositoryQuery', params={query=MSC-3, expand=changesets[0:20].revisions[0:29],reviews}, methodType=GET}] : Received status code 500 (Server Error)"

How can I fix this issue?

BR,

Irina

I would verify the following:

1. Is REST API enabled in your new instance of JIRA?

2. From the new JIRA server are you able to hit the Fisheye URL?

3. If it is not 1 or 2, this problem is often caused by time outs. Increasing the heap size can often resolve this issue.
