JIRA and Confluence in IE 11

Sharon Decker December 30, 2014

I have installed Crowd, JIRA, and Confluence on separate servers with Apache as a front end to validate certs.  When I access JIRA or Confluence through IE11 using https, styling is not applied.  Crowd, however, works fine accessed the same way, and Firefox and Chrome browsers work.  Since the other browsers work, our conclusion is that IE11 has some security or compatibility setting that is interfering but I can't find what combination of security or compatibility settings is causing the issue.  Please tell me what settings I should have in IE11 for the styling to work.

Hi Sharon.

Did IE shows some error in the status bar?

You can find some possible solutions for this problem in this KB https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Error+to+load+page+when+accessing+JIRA+with+IE, but usually you can see some error in the status bar when IE has troubles showing JIRA page elements.
