Our end user team requested to launch JIRA 6.2 with add ons (JIRA agile and JIRA KanBan)

JIRA Agile and JIRA KanBan are separate plugins ?

or

Is JIRA Agile cover KanBan itself ?

The Jira Agile plugin provides Scrum and Kanban boards, so he's probably just confused abut what is provideded.

Just to be sure, I'd question what he thinks he means by "Jira Kanban" as there are some other plugins which provide some Kanban stuff without needing the Jira Agile plugin.
