JIRA - Workflow Issue: Automatic updates

Hi, 

Currently, we see an issue with JIRA workflow.

When the task is assigned to someone, based on the status, JIRA Workflow extensions is automatically changing the assignee. An example screenshot is attached.

Not sure what the criteria is here. Usually, the name is enlisted under Reviewers list or Testers list.

Based on some complex situations, we may have a different name assigned to the task that are not enlisted either in the Reviewers or Testers list?

How could we stop these automatic updates done by JIRA Misc. Workflow Extensions?

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated. Awaiting a response.

Hi Swetha priya, thank you.

We've noticed that this does not relate to any one particular transition and happens across all transitions i.e., whether its from Development to Review or Review to Test and so on.

But what is new is that I do not know that there is a - 'post function' which can cause this. Will look out for it. Meanwhile, please suggest a way to find this if possible.

Hi Shravan,

Please check during which transition assignee is being changed and check for corresponding post-function in that particualr transition and remove it from the workflow.
