JIRA Software Question - linking sub-tasks

I'm looking to link Sub-tasks to an Epic but am unable to for reporting purposes. I have an existing story for certain updates with multiple sub-tasks in it for the locations we are updating however I cannot link the sub-tasks to the Epic which we have deemed to be locations. Do you have any suggestions or methods that could help us determine the hours worked in each sub-task? Thanks for any input.

You can do the internal linking, but that's not really going to help much, as you can't report on it.  Even if you did some epic linking, JIRA doesn't consider estimates on sub-tasks, only stories, so it's not going to help you with the reporting.
