JIRA Software: How to View a Project Page?

Shelli May 11, 2016

How do you view a project page in JIRA Software 7.x?

If you choose a project from the list under the "Projects" menu, you are taken to a scrum board associated with it.  In 6.4.x, there were links to the projects at the top left of the board or, more popular with our users, you could choose to "Disable New Project Navigation" under the user profile.

In JIRA Software 7.x, there are no links to the project from the board and no option to disable under the user profile.

If you click the Project Name above the board name and to the right of the project avatar you will see a more traditional project page view.

There is no project name(s) above the board name...

The project name itself is a link (next to the project icon) in the left nav.

There is no project name, no project icon, no link, nada...

There are multiple projects associated with this board. Maybe that's the issue?

I upgraded from 7.0.0 to 7.1.6 and that updated my boards page and now the project avatar and link are visible.
