JIRA Software: Change Default Project Icon

Shelli May 11, 2016

We have just upgraded to JIRA Software and the default project icon has been changed from a blue rocket on a silver background to a mulit-coloured rocket on a purple background.  Can I change it back?  It's a minor issue, but the purple one is garish and distracting.

Go to Project Setting->Details and you should see an option to change the project avatar.

Sorry, just realised you meant, change the default icon. Don't know if that's possible.

At least not without changing something in the source files.
