JIRA Project permission scheme

Steve Holzer October 22, 2015

How to determine the permission scheme used by a JIRA project before it was changed to a closed project. Part of closing our projects is to change the permission scheme to a more restrictive set. The user wants to re-open the project now and I need to reset the previous permissions that the project had prior to being closed.

You can't - if you edit a permission scheme, then you've changed it.  That's it.  It will persist in a backup if you still have one.

But, you'll probably have to reconstruct the permissions from scratch.
