JIRA Portfolio timeline starts at a very old date

Hi

I setup my live plan based on a couple of boards. After the wizzard is completed, portfolio shows the timeline (see picture). Problem: The start date is too old. That leads to a situation where a lot of the timeline space is empty. Why is that? I only work with new releases, epics don't seem to have an old start date etc.

I found the reason. Somewhere in a board I had an orphan sprint from the specific old date. Portfolio works as expected.
