JIRA Portfolio - progress based on child issues status

Hi all,

Is there any way to get Portfolioplan to update progress-bar related to issues status.

I whould like to see Epic status 50% if 5 out of 10 "child issues-story-task" is set to done-status.

Below from documentation...but for me it will not happen ?

The plan is built by JQL filter if thats any help...

Calculating Progress for Issues without estimates
If the issue does not have estimates:
If the issue is resolved (Resolution field is not empty), the progress is 100%.
Otherwise, the progress is 0%.

I think I first need to understand if "my" logic could be supported in any way ?

5 out of 10 issues-storys in Epic set to status DONE = 50% progress on Epic...regardless of any estimate or no estimates

IF thats possible then I need to find correct JQL/Filter for my purpose.

I understand that progress calculation in portfolio counts in a different way...out of the box

Hi, yes it can support that logic. You found the correct documentation. If you don't see the progress correctly it may be because some issue types are not considered in the JQL
