I have JIRA Misc Workflow Extensions assigning an issue via a postfunction to our development manager. He has indicated he is not receiving the email notifications when this happens.
I have double checked that he should receive a notification based on the notification scheme for both the Issue Created and Issue Assigned actions. And I have verified via the notification helper for a test issue I just created that he should have received the email. The test issue was assigned to him properly but he never received the notification.
Please help as we have tickets that are not being worked because users don't know they are there.
You can change the kind of event that is fired in the postfunction.
Have you tried to change this to "issue assigned"?
