JIRA Mail queue is not being flushed

Hi,

I see below errors in catalina.out file related to mail queue service. Coul anyone tell me what could be the problem..

Mail Queue Service : com.atlassian.jira.service.services.mail.MailQueueService

Try increasing your JVM by 256-512MB. We hat similar issue and now no more issues afterwards. We were having to manually flush the queue. But this was also with 4.4.5.

At least in 5.2 and above there is generally an error message about out of memory if it a memory issue.

Check to see if the Jira scheduler is running or not. If you are running 6.1 there is a link on the system adminstration screen called scheduler details. if it is paused or shutdown, try restarting Jira and see if the scheduler starts up again.
