JIRA Demo - Can't add anymore users

Palka Mistry November 5, 2012

Hi

I've downloaded a demo version of JIRA and on the website it states

'An unlimited number of users can participate in your JIRA trial. You may add additional JIRA users in the system as needed, as evaluations allow for full enterprise functionality and control, including user and group management.'

However, currently I have set-up 9 users and when trying to add antoher 2, it won't allow me and states that i've exceeded my limit?

Help

Regards

Palka

Hi Palka

As outlined in the following URL, you should be able to add unlimited users after creating a new JIRA evaluation license in my.atlassian.com. However, just as a double check, try to create a new one in order to check if you're not using a STARTER license.

Anyway, you can try to raise a support ticket requesting further assistance about this.

Cheers,

What license are you using? If you've downloaded a copy, you'll need to apply a license and that's what determines how many users you can have.

9 actually sounds like you've got OnDemand, and not download, because you'll get 9 users and one admin there. Or you've got a 10 user license, installed "admin" or yourself as the default administrator and that takes up 1 license because it can log in.
