JIRA Compatibility

Miodrag Milosavljevic September 18, 2014

Hello,

I have a question about the compatibility JIRA.

JIRA Version: 2.6.1 has to work with SQL Server 2000. Right ?

Will it work maybe with SQL Server 2005 or 2008 ?

We want to install a JIRA Version: 2.6.1 on Microsoft Server 2008 and we want to this works. Is it possible with SQL Server 2000, or 2005, 2008 ?

Do JIRA Version: 2.6.1 support any other database ? Is it may work with that other database ?

Misa.

Thank you.

Hi Miodrag,

First off: why on earth do you still work with JIRA 2.6.1?

Second: here you can find the requirements and supported platforms: http://downloads.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/v2.6/requirements.html

I would recommend you to test any change in database on a Test environment first.

Best regards,

Peter

Nobert, I do hope that's the case :) Miodrag, if that's the case you can take a look here for the supported databases and platforms: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA062/Supported+Platforms JIRA 6.2.1 supports SQL Server 2005 and 2008 (R2) Best regards, Peter
