I would like to update the selection options in a custom field in our JIRA cloud instance on a scheduled basis (daily/weekly). Basically I'm envisioning running a script from an external source and generating a list of new/updated values and importing them into an existing custom fieldin JIRA.
Does anyone know of a way to do this in the JIRA Cloud version? I've looked at the Developer documentation for the REST API and it appears that you can do this for api/2/customFieldOption but that only seems to get a list of existing options. api/2/field/{fieldKey}/option does not seem ot support Custom field or System fields.
I also looked on the Atlassian Market Place and there seem to be some add-ons for the Server version and two unsupported add-ons that have not been downloaded or reviewed.
Anyone doing this in the Cloud and if so how?
