JIRA Backups - Queues and Filters

Christopher Tarter August 14, 2017

Hopefully this will be a quick and simple inquiry-

When backing up a JIRA project (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/backing-up-data-802592964.html), are the custom Queues and Filters backed up as well for each user in the project? Or does the backup only handle the main database and configuration?

We've had a issues where a few users "accidentally" remove/rename/alter custom queues and filters which another department relies on.

Each time it happens we have to manually recreate the entries. The hope is that we can quickly restore those items when they're changed.

Is it possible to backup (just) the Queues and Filters?

The backups take everything, but there's no way to get just the queues or filters out of the backup.

That was our fear.
