JIRA BEST PRACTICE - SPLITTING WORKFLOWS

Deleted user December 11, 2012

Hi,

I need to implement three issues types. At the end of the first phase (Initiative Selection - first workflow), the issue might generate a Project (that I will manually add within JIRA) or an other 'Standard Flow'.

Should I create three separated flows (Initiative Selection, Standard Realization and Project Management) or two flows (Initiative Selection + Standard Realization and Project Management).

Please I would like to understand pros and cons of such choices.

cheers,

thiago

Hi tbarroero,

I think most users here will say you haven't provided enough information to make recommendations.

At the end of the first phase, the issue might generate a project

Can you please explain what you mean by this? It looks like your users will be raising requests to get projects created in JIRA. Is that correct?
