JIRA Agile update affects all projects

I recently updated from GreenHopper 5.6.8 to Agile 6.3.4 and noticed that all projects - even those which are not Agile enabled - now have an "Agile" section on their issue pages (just below the dates section).

I also notice the default screen has the "Epic Link" custom field added to it - which also affects projects which are not Agile enabled.

Does anyone know if this is expected behaviour ? Are the recent Agile plugins meant to hook themselves into every project ?

Does anyone know if this is expected behaviour ? Are the recent Agile plugins meant to hook themselves into every project ?

Yes. It's a panel added to issues whether they are part of an agile board or not.
