JIRA 7 upgrade Service Desk Not Working

nv5gis February 4, 2016

We recently upgraded to JIRA 7 with Service Desk in the previous version.  Once upgraded, we upgraded the Service Desk to the most recent.  We can see our existing Service Desk Projects, but the Customer Portal pages do not work.  Also, if we go to Create New Project, Service Desk is not an option.  We are fully licensed.

Have you reviewed the changes in Service Desk user management at https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7/server_jira+agile+jsd_um-changes

Do you have any users with "agent" role ? You should include all your agents in the jira-servicedesk-users group otherwise they'll not be able to see the customer portal or any other Service Desk menus, etc...

Hi, need

  • stop JIRA
  • remove log files
  • start JIRA
  • find error messages in the log file
  • to inform us of these messages (or provide the file)
