JIRA 7 in cloud - how can a project be both servicedesk AND software?

Our customer is using Atlassian Cloud.

Before the upgrade to JIRA 7 they had a project that was linked to a servicedesk, but also it was linked to git, so they were able to see the branches, commits, etc in the "Development" section on the right side of an issue.

After the upgrade the "Development" information section disappeared.

How can we get it back?

The team is considering to bring the "Development" section back in Service Desk and the work is ongoing. Please watch the suggestion and feel to comment:
