JIRA 6.4.14 - enabling SSL and integration with Fisheye/Crucible, Stash, Confluence

Rafal Sojka October 5, 2017

Hi,

I have four Atlassian products under my care : JIRA, Fisheye/Crucible, Stash and Confluence. All of them uses HTTP and I would like to enable HTTPS on JIRA only for now. Do you know what should be modified in F/C, Stash and Confluence to make it working with this new HTTPS-enabled JIRA ? I planned to modified links to JIRA User Server and application links in them.  I wonder if there is something I missed.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I've done something like this before and I had problems with the certificates. This caused me problems when configuring the application links.

You have to install the cacerts of the SSL in the instances of F/C, Bitbucket (Stash) and Confluence.

This links can be helpful to install the cacerts:

If you are using RedHat -> https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1519813

If you are using Debian/Ubuntu -> https://www.brightbox.com/blog/2014/03/04/add-cacert-ubuntu-debian/

If you are using Windows -> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/java-add-certificate-ca-store
