JIRA 6.2: How to enable/disable Atlassian analytics

Jørgen Johanson December 14, 2014

I am using JIRA 6.2.3. I am am trying to find where to enable/disable Atlassian analytics (in order to disable requests to Google Analytics).

I have checked the version 6.2 documentation at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA062/Data+collection+policy

It points me to "Administration > System > General Configuration > Enable Atlassian analytics".

However, under "Administration > System > General Configuration" I can not see "Enable Atlassian analytics"?

Are there any other places to do this?

Jørgen

In JIRA 7.1.2 there is Administration -> System -> Advanced -> Analytics with which you can configure analytics in jira.

Hi!

Thanks for the feedback!

The documentation on version 6.2 at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA062/Data+collection+policy does mention the Enable Atlassian analytics as far as I can see?

Also, I have not installed any of the add-ons in https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/f4U7Fw , still I can see requests to Google Analytics (I would like to disable these requests).

So, I guess I am still looking for a way to disable analytics...

The seeting you are searching fir is introduced in JIRA 6.3.3.

In older Versions you only can deactivate some analytics directly in the add-ons.
