JIRA - 6.0-OD-14-WN - Set a custom field value when assignee change

Thomas Rechter June 13, 2013

Hi,

i would like to force a specific custom field to change :

-Set automatically to 0 when assignee changes

-Force to be > 0 when issue is updated by assignee

I've noticed that currently any version of JIRA supports the Issue Assigned Event Type (or screen), update capabilities (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-8874)

Neither I can't install plugin such as https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.keplerrominfo.jira.plugins.keplercf with SIL script capabilities.

I'm currently using a OnDemand Jira version 6.0-OD-14-WN

Thx a lot for any help on this subject !!

You can't do this on OnDemand.

The approaches here are broadly "script a change to a standard custom field" or "write a field that does the work itself". In both cases you need to install plugins to provide either the script or the field, and OnDemand does not let you do this.
