JIRA 5.2 show total amount of time logged

CV June 6, 2013

We have actually imported a number of issues using csv import with the work log's in below format:

Some text;date time;username;time in seconds

Example:

some text;2011-24-10 13:31:24;myuser;300

But it doesnt show the 'Time Tracking' panel for most of the issues and if it does show it won't show a wrong value for Logged

It doesn't seem to calculate the total at all.

Please note it does show the time spent corectly for the work log entries though.

Hi CV,

Check if the issues have the "Original estimate" and the "Remaining estimate" fields populated.

Hi Janet,

see the screenshot here http://www.flickr.com/photos/97264593@N06/9005235080/

You can see that no time tracking is shown even though the time spent is recorded.

Please advice.

Hi CV,

But it doesnt show the 'Time Tracking' panel for most of the issues

Does these issues are in the same project ? Same issue types etc ? Perhaps the Time Tracking field is hidden for the issue.

if it does show it won't show a wrong value for Logged

Does it means that if the CSV lines indicate that the timespent is 300ms , it's does not shows the issue has 5 mins log work ?

It doesn't seem to calculate the total at all.

Do you have any sample with screenshot for this ?
