JIRA 5.2 CSV import - suppress the irrelavent history info

CV June 9, 2013

We have imported some issues from a legacy system using csv import, basically we have populated the worklog tab will multiple call actions. this is working fine.

But as part of the import it also populates the history information for each worklog entry wich is irrelavent because the timestamp was of csv import and same for all entries.

for eg.

username1 made changes - 20/May/13 5:21 PM

username2 made changes - 20/May/13 5:21 PM

.......

is there a way to exclude this information when using CSV import OR delete the history information post migration????

There is no option to populate the history information via CSV import, means my CSV file doesn't contain any history data.

JIRA is populating the history as if someone is manullay creating those issues.

Anyone have an idea how to solve this ploblem?? atleast Atlassian people??

I am not sure if the CSV importer allows for a field to be mapped to the change history's "Created Date" and if that is not the case, just delete it from the CSV itself.
