When I access the JIRA's URL I receive this error:

Description

The following plugins are required by JIRA, but have not been started:

Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Project Config Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.jira-project-config-plugin)

Embedded Gadgets Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.embedded)

Gadget Dashboard Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.dashboard)

Opensocial Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.opensocial)

Gadget Directory Plugin (com.atlassian.gadgets.directory)

Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Gadgets Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.gadgets)

Thank you for your response to this problem. I have found out with help from our system administrator that the ip address had changed as it was company sponsored and changes periodoically. This wreaked havoc with the JIRA and Confluence.

Please check your firewall and antivirus, they might be the cause behind the error. Moreover, you can check out this link.

You need to check with the following aspects for this kind of error -

* Antivirus scanning JIRA directories (Home and installation directories)
* Invalid Java version - 1.7 (use JDK 1.6)
* Timout during plugin installation (due to memory resources issue)
