Hey Anand,

From the System Information of your JIRA instance, there's an indication that you've deployed JIRA EAR/WAR installation on Resin application server.
- Installation Type : EAR/WAR
Server ID : Contact your Administrator to discover this property value.
Server Information:
Application Server: Resin/3.1.12

This I believe, could be the root cause of the problem, since Resin is actually an unsupported platform. More details on JIRA supported platforms:
- https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA051/Supported+Platforms

And therefore, can you kindly try to switch the application server to Tomcat and see if it helps?
