Is it possible to receive issue notifications via RSS instead of E-Mails? As a product owner I follow a large number of issues and the attendant email notifications are clogging up my inbox.
You do have a filter, ordered by last update date, showing what has been updated? Then feed that through RSS

or you could build an RSS stream using an activity stream gadget?

you'd also have to change your email address in Jira to a sink mailbox to not be on any notifications, something that ignored them, or setup a rule on your email inbox that deleted them
