Issue navigators - show column value conditionally?

We have an issue navigator that pulls from two projects to display all of our backlogged issues together. One project uses a field called FixVersion; the other uses Due Date. Is there any way to display a single column, rather than both, and have it display the value of whichever field a particular record contains?

No, but you could define a scripted field with the script runner which contains the non-empty value of either field and then display that scripted field in your issue navigator.

Thanks. I don't know that I'm willing to go that far for a convenience, but it's nice to know how.
