Issue collector only shows if logged into JIRA

Chris Lalande May 13, 2015

I have set up an Issue Collector, and added it both to a Confluence page as well as two custom applications.

It works beautifully if the user is logged into JIRA.    If the user is not logged into JIRA, the Issue Collector is not visible.

I've tried both settings for "Match Reporter?" to no avail.

I'm using trigger style "Prominent" and Issue Collector Form "custom"

Is this issue sorted? We are facing similar scenario.

For us, it is not working because if the user is not logged in and it tries to access the issue collector, it gets redirected to our SSO. Therefore, no Create button is available.

Hmm. I would create a JIRA system user or a dummy user for the system and make that the default reporter and try again. This way you don't need to be logged in to create the issue.

Are you sure widget is not showing? Maybe its z-index is too low and is hovered with other site's component?

Chris Lalande October 5, 2015

No, because the widget does show successfully when a user is logged in. I would expect the z-index issue would be the same regardless of login status?
