IS THERE A WAY FOR THE ISSUE STATUS TO CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY ONCE THE ASSIGNEE OPENS THE ISSUE?
Hi Niclas one more question... There's no way to set the transition to auto assign the issue to a user by the Post Functions feature, correct? In order to do that I'll have to use the automation plugin, right?
Thank you Niclas However there are several users in my group. We don't know who will receive the ticket. That is why I wanted a transition that changes the status once the user opens the ticket.

You can do a lot of things but the best is to make a transition that assigns the issues to the user and changes status. You can also look into the free automation plugins.
