Issue Picker field -> How to pick a smaller length issue?

Hi,

We use Issue Picker fields and we encounter scenario of impossible picking "shorter length" issues.

For example: In case of existence of issues: XXX-102 and XXX-1023

I can't pick XXX-102 since it select the XXX-1023 one.

Trying to add to JQL: "ORDER BY created ASC"

does not help in several cases (while the newer issue ins the shorter)

Please follow this steps:

1.Please click + button beside issue picker:

//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.Issue picker contains 2 option:

• Recent Issues
• From Filter

Please select recent issues

//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3.Please open issues:  XXX-102  and XXX-1023

//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4.Try to search issues on issue picker again:

looks like we don't have the '+' sign (we're hiding it in order to disable linking / auto cloning creation)

So we'll handle it somehow :)
