Issue Permissions

Marta CRUZ MEGIA December 29, 2016

Hi

i'd like to know if is possible to have permissions for individuals issues, for example:

I have a project with: tasks and requirement issues and i want:

a) Task issues only can be created by the Analyst

b) Requirement issues can be created by anyone but only be modified by the product Owner

This is an example to explain what i want to do.

thanks in advance

There's an answer to most of this at https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/45830690 which you asked earlier.

The new part here is that you want to limit create rights by issue type.  JIRA does not directly support this, the best you can do is put validators on the workflow that will fail if the wrong person tries to create an issue of the wrong type (which is ugly because they can get all the way through their data only to lose it).  You really need to do that with separate projects.

I am sorry I couldn't answer you in anything but English, to my shame, I only speak one language well enough to use it.
