Issue Collector to a Different Initial Workflow Status Outside Project Default

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to set the issue collector code such that when an issue is submitted using the issue collector, it goes into a specific workflow status outside of the initial default workflow for that project? 

Example: my project is setup such that new issues go to "To-Do" workflow status but I would like issues submitted using my issue collector to go into the "Triage" workflow status.
