Is there anyway to get a calculated field to be viewable on the Issues Detail view on a board?

We have a calculated field (Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF)), that we want to at a minimum, be viewable if not updatable on a Scrum or Kanban boards Issue Detail view. I've been told that that is not possible, is that true? And if it is, is it on the roadmap as a future enhancement?

JIRA Download Version 6.2.4 and JIRA Agile Version 6.3.12
