In order to do a soft roll out of JIRA Service Desk I'd like to link service desk to an IMAP mailbox but want to prevent any notifications going to the users.
I can turn off all notifications for the project but the initial "Thanks for raising this ticket with us" still gets sent. Can that be configured?
On a related note, can that email text be customized at all?
Turns out there is indeed a way to do this.
Settings -> Applications -> \[JIRA Service Desk\] Configuration
JIRA Service desk notifications are currently: On
