I would like to integrate Jira with a test case management + automation tool (like selenium).

Is there any way to do that for the OnDemand version of Jira?

Check out http://quickstart.atlassian.com/ondemand/jira/add-ons - there are a few add ons like Zephyr, or Enterprise Tester that may be what you are looking for.
