Is there any limit to the number of users I can restrict a branch to?

Each of my projects has a lable for that customer. I want each customer to have a generic login, where he can see only the tickets that contain his label, thus only items for his company.

How do I do this?

What do you mean by restricting a branch? Do you mean restricting the issues in JIRA?

If it is the issues, take a look at the issue security scheme. You can define security levels for each customer and use it while creating issues. Only issues with that security level will be visible to him and/or employees of his company.
