Is there an option to assign an issue to a group of people?

I found the default filter ASSIGNED TO ME on Jira board but In my project I want to assign an issue to a group of people. Can we have ASSIGNED TO A GROUP filter?

JIRA is designed so that issues must be assigned to a single individual to prevent tasks from being overlooked. A team lead or manager should assign issues out to individuals, or your users will pick from a list of issues that they have the option to take on.

However, if you want to configure JIRA to allow issues to be assigned to multiple users then you can check out the following link:

No.  One of the reasons Jira was written was that "assign to group" is a terrible thing to do and does not work in real life.

See  https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/how-do-i-assign-issues-to-multiple-users-207489749.html for ways to say "this group also have responsibility", but never neglect the assignee - you will regret assigning to group.

Okay I will go for Assigned to me then.

Thanks.
