Is there a way to turn of the automatic comment needed when logging your work using the time tracking/log work option in Jira?

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to turn off the required comment needed when logging in your work?

Has anyone been able to find a way?

Not an issue anymore. It's being required. :) But to do it you just have to place a log work screen into your transitions from your work flow and set the field condition to be optional.

Hi Jennifer,

Which version of Jira are you using? This normally should be required in the first place. Do you have any plugins that might be interfering with this? (Tempo)

I am using 6.1.3. I do have tempo installed but haven't really set it up yet.
