Hi, we are using a custom field that we want a group of users to be notify if the field's value was updated, it doesn't seems like we can use notification scheme for this, is there a way to set this up in OnDemand?
Unfortunately this isnt' something that can be done in JIRA OnDemand. This is because post functions that fire notifications can only be applied to workflow transitions. Changing a custom field doesn't cause the issue to transition to anything so this process isn't started.
The only thing that may get close to what you want would be to create a custom group with the users you want notified in it. Add that group to be notified any time an issue is updated and then have those users set email filters to filter everything but updates containing that custom field.
