Is there a way to restrict the velocity report to less than 7 sprints?

We run our Sprints on a Federal quarterly basis. I would like to show only the Sprints for the current quarter in the Velocity Report. Is there a way to pick which Sprints will appear in the Velocity Report?

The Velocity report is a report that is not adjustable in regards to sprint selection. The report is configured to always show the last 7 sprints completed by the team. There is more information about the Velocity Chart within the documentation.

An additional option would be to explore the Atlassian Marketplace for add-ons which may give you the functionality you’re looking for. Here is a Atlassian Marketplace search for Velocity.

There was a feature request submitted to allow for flexibility within the Velocity report, but this feature request has since been closed. The feature request was JRASERVER-37869 and JRACLOUD-37869.

You are welcomed to create a new feature request. You can do so by going to the Create Feature Request and select suggestion. Ensure you provide a full use case and details as to how this feature would provide a better product. If you do create a feature, please link it back to this post so other may find it easily.

I hope this clarifies the abilities of the Velocity reports and provides some additional options with marketplace add-ons.
